Intergas Rapid

The Intergas Rapid is one of our favorite boilers in the Intergas combi boiler range, there is just simply no other same priced boiler with its credentials. So we thought we would do an overview on why the Intergas Rapid is such a great boiler for the money! :)

The Intergas Rapid is available in both 25 kW and 32 kW models.  The standard Intergas Rapid comes with a 3 year parts and labour warranty and the Intergas Rapid Plus comes with a 6 year parts and labour warranty.  The 25 kW Intergas Rapid and Rapid Plus model actually has a 29.1 kW hot water heat input, therfore flow rates of up to 11.2 litres per minute can be delivered with a 35 degrees Celcuis temperature rise.

The Intergas Rapid is larger than the Intergas ECO RF and Intergas HRE models, but a perfect boiler where space is not an issue. This extremely well engineered boiler really is a service technicians favorite! With only 4 moving parts and easily accessible internal expansion vessle, the Intergas Rapid is very easy to work on making full servicing and repairs easy to do and lifetime costs are much reduced.

At 42 kg the Intergas Rapid is certainly not the lightest boiler on the market, but what makes up for its weight is how very robust and well built the boiler is!  Below is a brief video of the Intergas Rapid, pointing out the key features and benefits.

So as per the video, the Intergas Rapid has a combined condensate and PRV discharge. PRV stands for Pressure Relief Valve and this safety discharge is often tricky to terminate, especially when the boiler is installed in the center of the house (in the old airing cupboard for instance). However, as the Intergas Rapid can discharge this to an internal drain, it combats the issue of getting the PRV out the house.
