Delivery Overview

Items purchased from The INTERGAS Shop are sent with different delivery services depending on the size, weight & value of the product and/or the delivery service you have chosen. You will be notified by a separate email which delivery company your item has been sent with and the appropriate tracking number (where applicable).

We use Station Couriers UK Ltd (part of the APC Overnight parcel network & Pallet-Track pallet network) & Royal Mail.

Items bought from our website are only dispatched on working days and for items to be dispatched on the same working day of your order, the checkout process must be completed strictly before 4:30pm (sorry no exceptions). Any order placed after 4:30pm will be sent the following working day. Friday orders placed before 4:30pm will be delivered the following Monday (excluding bank holidays), unless the Saturday delivery option has been paid for. Ordering after 4:30pm on Friday and at weekends will mean that your items will be dispatched the following working day (excluding bank holidays).

A signature is required for all our deliveries and they cannot be left without a signature or with a neighbour without prior arrangement. All items bought on our website require a signature at the point of delivery and will returned back to your local delivery depot should no-one be at home to sign for them. We are able to deliver parcels to a neighbour or a work address if this is more convenient, but this must be specified as the 'delivery address' at checkout. If you want the parcel left with a neighbour if no-one is home, written conformation of this must be done in the 'notes' section at the checkout (E.g. 'Leave with number 24 or 25 if not in').

Bulky items or items that total more than 25kg will be sent as a Pallet Delivery. We do not suggest allowing pallet deliveries to be left with a neighbour, as they are big and bulky items and someone must be available to receive and inspect the goods at the point of delivery.

Please note Saturdays, Sundays & Bank Holidays are not classified as ‘working days’ and we cannot be held liable in any way for exact delivery timings or delayed deliveries. We put faith in the companies we use to deliver our goods in the timescales they give us, however these timescales are not 100% guaranteed and the operations and actions of these companies and staff are simply beyond our control. We will not compensate for any damage, loss of labour or lost time due to late or delayed deliveries.

A signature is required for all our deliveries. All items bought on our website will require a signature at the point of delivery and will returned back to your local delivery depot should no-one be at home to sign for them. 

Unfortunately, due to legislation under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 our items can no longer be left in a 'safe place' and will be returned to your local delivery depot should no one be there to sign for them.

Delivery Terms and Prices

Pallet Prices

Bulky items (boilers, cylinders, etc) that total more than 25kg will be sent on a palletised delivery. Pallet deliveries are large, bulky deliveries and must be delivered on the very first occasion. Failure to deliver on the first attempt will mean a non-negotable re-delivery charge of £39 + VAT.

Next Working Day Pallet Delivery To England, Wales & Southern Scotland - £47.74 (Inc. VAT). Using this service means you should receive your parcel before 6pm the next working day after we dispatch. This service is only available to the following Scottish postcodes: DG, EH, FK, G, KA1-26, KA29+, KY, ML, PA1-19, TD.

AM Next Working Day Pallet Delivery To England, Wales & Southern Scotland - £66.10 (Inc. VAT). Using this service means you should receive your parcel before 12pm the next working day after we dispatch. This service is only available to the following Scottish postcodes: DG, EH, FK, G, KA1-26, KA29+, KY, ML, PA1-19, TD.

Saturday AM Pallet Delivery To England, Wales & Southern Scotland - £85.00 (Inc. VAT). Using this service means you should receive your parcel before 12pm the next Saturday after we dispatch. This service is only available to the following Scottish postcodes: DG, EH, FK, G, KA1-26, KA29+, KY, ML, PA1-19, TD.

Next Working Day Pallet Delivery To Scotland - £97.70 (Inc. VAT). Using this service means you should receive your parcel before 6pm the next working day after we dispatch. This service is only available to the following Scottish postcodes: DD, PH1-14, IV1-3, IV12, IV30-36, AB10-16, AB21-25.

2-3 Working Day Pallet Delivery To Scotland - £92.47 (Inc. VAT). Using this service means you should receive your parcel before 6pm 2-3 working days after we dispatch. This service is only available to the following Scottish postcodes: IV4-11, IV13-19, AB30-99.

3-5 Working Day Pallet Delivery To Scotland - £143.48 (Inc. VAT). Using this service means you should receive your parcel before 6pm 3-5 working days after we dispatch. This service is only available to the following Scottish postcodes: HS, IV20-29, IV37-99, PH15-50, KW, PA20-80, KA27-28, ZE.

Next Working Day Pallet Delivery To Northern Ireland - £110.78 (Inc. VAT). Using this service means you should receive your parcel before 6pm the next working day after we dispatch. This service is only available to the following postcodes: BT1-21, BT23, BT26-29, BT36-46, BT61-63, BT66-67.

3-5 Working Day Pallet Delivery To Northen Ireland - £97.70 (Inc. VAT). Using this service means you should receive your parcel before 6pm 3-5 working days after we dispatch. This service is only available to the following postcodes: BT24-25, BT30-35, BT47-60, BT64-65, BT68-94.

3-5 Working Day Pallet Delivery To Republic Of Ireland - £110.78 (Inc. VAT). Using this service means you should receive your parcel before 6pm 3-5 working days after we dispatch.

All orders will be checked upon dispatch and should the correct delivery option not have been selected or paid for The INTERGAS Shop is under no obligation to send the delivery.

Parcel Delivery Prices

Items purchased from The INTERGAS Shop will have the option to be sent with the following services. Items sent via Royal Mail are usually delivered within the relevant timescales on Royal Mail's website (http://www.royalmail.com/personal/sending-mail). Items sent with APC Overnight will usually be delivered before 6pm the very next working day.

We charge the following prices for our deliveries (correct January 2018):

Royal Mail Large Letter 2nd Class Signed For - From £2.32 (Inc. VAT). We offer this service for items up to £20 in value. Using this service means you should receive your item(s) within 3 working days after we dispatch.

Royal Mail Large Letter 1st Class Signed For - From £2.58 (Inc. VAT). We offer this service for items up to £50 in value. Using this service means you should receive your item(s) within 1-2 working days after we dispatch.

Royal Mail Small Parcels 2nd Class Signed For - £4.84 (Inc. VAT). We offer this service for items up to £20 in value or up to 2kg in weight. Using this service means you should receive your parcel within 3 working days after we dispatch.

Royal Mail Small Parcel 1st Class Signed For – From £5.44 (Inc. VAT). We offer this service for items up to £50 in value or up to 2kg in weight. Using this service means you should receive your parcel within 1-2 working days after we dispatch.

Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed by 9am – From £18.73 (Inc. VAT). We offer this service for items up to £2500 in value. Using this service means you should receive your parcel the next working day by 9am after we dispatch.

Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed by 1pm – From £8.94 (Inc. VAT). We offer this service for items up to £2500 in value. Using this service means you should receive your parcel the next working day by 1pm after we dispatch.

APC Overnight Next Working Day Delivery - From £6.49 (Inc. VAT). We offer this service for items up to £10000 in value. Using this service means you should receive your parcel before 6pm the next working day after we dispatch. This service is only available to the following Scottish postcodes: AB1-36, AB39-40, AB99, DD, DG, EH, FK, G, IV52-53, IV57-99,KA1-26, KA29, KY, ML, PA1-19, PA5-80, PH1-14, PH27-33, PH45-50, TD.

APC Overnight Next Working Day Delivery (Before 10:00) - £19.91 (Inc. VAT). We offer this service for items up to £10000 in value. Using this service means you should receive your parcel before 10am the next working day after we dispatch. Using this service means you should receive your parcel before 10am the next working day after we dispatch. APC Overnight Saturday Delivery (Before 12:00) - £33.07 (Inc. VAT). We offer this service for items up to £10000 in value. Using this service means you should receive your parcel before 12pm the next Saturday after we dispatch. This service is only available to the following Scottish postcodes: AB1-36, AB39-40, AB99, DD, DG, EH, FK, G, IV52-53, IV57-99,KA1-26, KA29, KY, ML, PA1-19, PA5-80, PH1-14, PH27-33, PH45-50, TD.

APC Overnight Delivery To Scottish Locations (1-2 Working Days) – £18.31 (Inc. VAT). We offer this service for items up to £10000 in value. Using this service means you should receive your parcel before 6pm 1-2 working days after we dispatch. This service is only available to the following Scottish postcodes: AB37-38, AB41-56, IV1-28, IV30-40, IV63, KW1-14, PH15-26, PA21-40, IV52-54, PH30-32, PH34-41.

APC Overnight Isle of Wight, Isle of Man & Scottish Islands (2-4 Working Days) – £27.31 (Inc. VAT).

APC Overnight Northern Ireland (By Road 2-3 Working Days) - £19.97 (Inc. VAT).

APC Overnight Republic of Ireland (By Road 3-4 Working Days) – £25.12 (Inc. VAT).

All orders will be checked upon dispatch and should the surcharge not have been paid, The INTERGAS Shop is under no obligation to send the parcel.

Returns Policy

CONSUMER RETURNS POLICY


This Condition does not affect your legal and statutory rights, and further advice can be obtained from the Citizens Advice Bureau.

1 Definitions
1.1 You may cancel your order at any time provided that you exercise your right and notify us no longer than seven working days after the day on which you receive the Goods by either:
(a) emailing sales@theintergasshop.co.uk; or
(b) telephoning 01686 626314
1.2 If you have received the Goods before you cancel your order you must send the Goods back to the address supplied by us at your own cost and risk. You should obtain proof of postage.
1.3 Orders placed for goods made to customer's specifications or clearly personalised or non-stocked goods specifically ordered at the customer’s request (“Special Order Goods”) cannot be cancelled. We will contact you to let you know whether your order contains any such items.
1.4 You may return Goods for any reason within 14 days from the date of delivery / collection provided that the following conditions are satisfied:
(a) Goods will only be accepted if you have taken reasonable care of them and they are unused;
(b) You return all the original packaging where possible to do so; and
(c) You supply the advice note accompanying the Goods or other proof of purchase (and for the avoidance of doubt a copy of the email confirming details of the order will not be sufficient for these purposes).
1.5 Before returning any Goods you must contact us and obtain a "Returns Form" either by:
(a) emailing sales@theintergasshop.co.uk; or
(b) telephoning 01686 626314
1.6 Except where otherwise agreed, you are responsible for returning the Goods to us. We ask that you please ensure that you obtain adequate proof of postage with adequate insurance in place.
1.7 Where Goods have been damaged whilst in your possession we shall not be obliged to accept the return of those Goods. In such circumstances, we will notify you that the Goods are available for re-collection or re-delivery for which you shall be liable for any reasonable delivery charges incurred.
1.8 The Company cannot offer refunds or accept returns on the following (unless they are faulty):
(a) Special Order Goods;
(b) if sealed packages have been opened on sensitive electronic goods (eg boiler printed circuit boards); and (c) Goods that have been fitted;
1.9 In the unlikely event that a product is faulty or it has been damaged during delivery, we will exchange the product or provide you with a full refund together with any applicable delivery charges. Notification of any defect must be made within a reasonable time. We reserve the right to inspect all returned products prior to agreeing to any part-refund, full refund or product exchange.
2.0 If you return Goods to us:
(a) because you have cancelled the Contract between us within seven working days following the date of delivery,; or
(a) for any other reason (save where the Goods are faulty) within 14 days from the date of delivery or collection, we will process the refund due to you (including any applicable delivery charges) as soon as possible and, in any case, within 30 days. However, you will be responsible for the cost of returning the Goods to us.
2.1 We will usually refund any money received from you using the same method originally used by you to pay for your purchase.

TRADE RETURNS POLICY

1 ABOUT THESE TERMS
1.1 Orders for Special Order Goods may not be cancelled.
1.2 The Buyer may cancel other orders at any time before they are dispatched by either:
(a) emailing sales@theintergasshop.co.uk; or
(b) telephoning 01686 626314
1.3 Before returning any Goods to the Company the Buyer must contact the Company either by:
(a) emailing sales@theintergasshop.co.uk; or
(b) telephoning 01686 626314
1.4 The Buyer may return Goods for any reason within 14 days from the date of delivery / collection provided that the following conditions are satisfied:
(a) Goods will only be accepted if they are in brand new, unused condition fit for immediate re-sale;
(b) Packaged items will only be accepted if the package remains unbroken and in reasonable condition,; and
(c) The Buyer supplies the Advice Note or other proof of purchase (and for the avoidance of doubt a copy of the email confirming details of the order will not be sufficient for these purposes)
1.5 Where Goods are returned pursuant to Condition 1.4 (where they are not faulty):
(a) in every case a restocking charge will be made; and
(b) the risk and cost or returning the Goods shall be at the Buyer's cost.
1.6 The Company will examine the returned Goods and will process any refund to the Buyer within 30 days. Unless otherwise notified by the Company the price of the Goods will be refunded less any applicable delivery and/or collection charges.
1.7 The Company cannot offer refunds or accept returns on the following (unless they are faulty):
(a) Special Order Goods;
(b) if sealed packages have been opened on sensitive electronic goods (eg boiler printed circuit boards);
(c) Goods that have been fitted; and
(d) specially manufactured products.
